Received Friday, 8.5 p.in. MELBOURNE, June 14. Police in a'patrol car who saw two men run from the Bouth Arelbourne railway station booking office, fired warning shot.s in the air and thcn shot at the legs of the fugitives. Both men fell to.the platfonn with ankle wounas but in addition one suffered a wonnd in the back inflicted by a ricochet. They are now in hospital under guard. The police found the door . of tne booking offiee open and preparationf made to earry off the safe.
