RADIO TELEPHONES FOR OUTBACK
Received Friday, 8.5 p.m. SYDNEY, June 14. Radio telephones may soon be established in outback parts of Australia where the cost of erecting ordinary telephone land lines is prohihitive. The Postmaster-General Senator Cameron, has stated that it is proposed to establish the first j coimtry radio telephone service at I Brokenhill as soon as possihle. ExI perihients are now being carried out \ to ascertain if these services can be established successfully.
