Artisans. .2 or 4 years. n Radio Mechanics (W/T.) & (R). : Leading Wiiters. i Leading Stcres Assistants. j Able and Ordinary Seaman (and equivaient ratings (except Stewaids) in ALL branchts). 2, 4, or 6 years. Stewards and Assistant Stewards. 3 years. A limited number of ex-Petty Officers and Leading Seainen who held higher non-substantive rates in the following are also required for 2 or 4 years engagements: — H.S.D. — S.D. R.C. — R.P., Control — Quarters — AA. Re-entry will be in rating. previously held, but fnrther advancement will be under peace-time regulations. Former time allowed to count will be reckonablc towai d Good Conduct Badges, Progressive Pay, Good Condiict Medal and advancement (subject to adjustiiiieiit in respect of time spent out of the Service), provided re-entry is within a period of 5 years from date of discharge.
