WHANGAREI, Juhe 14. Speakers at the annual reunion of members of the Home Giiard last night were strongly of the opinion that some embleni of service with the Home Guard throughout the Dominion should be adopted.by the Government. The following resolution was carried unanimously : "That this meeting expresses the hope that the Minister of Defence has not for--mtten the service rendered by the Home Guard; and that some recognition in the form of a medal or other acknowledgment be granted to guardsmen when awards to homeservicem'en are being considered."
