LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER jSJGTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, at a Special Meeting of the Levin Borough Council held on the 20 day of May, 1946, a resolution was passed, the purport of which is as follows:— 1. That -a Special Loan of Two Thousand two hundred and fifty pounds (£2,250), to be known as "The Levin Borough Council Dwelling Loan (1946)," be raised by the Levin Borough Council for tne purpose of erecting a residence for the oceupancy of the Borough Engineer. 2. Prescribing the term of the said Special Loan and the rate of interest payable thereon. 3. Prescribing the terms of repayment of the said Special Loan. 4. Prescribing that the payment of interest and repayment of principal shall be made in New Zealand and that no portions of interest or repayment shall be made out of loan monies. 5. Prescribing the rate payable for brokerage, underwriting and procurauon fees in respect of the raising of the said Loan. 6. Prescribing the Special Rate that will be levied over the Borough as security for the said Special Loan. And NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN [ that the resolution will be submit- ! ted for confirmation as a Special Grder at the Ordinary Meeting of the Levin Borough Council to be held in the Council Chambers, Bath Street, Levin, at 7.30 p.m. on Monday, the 17 day of June, 1946. Such resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council, to be held on Monday, the 17 day of June, 1946, at the hour of 7.30 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Bath Street, Levin. The object and purport of the proposed By-Law, which is to be known as "The Levin Borough ByLaw No. 6 (1946)," are: — (a) To amend the Building ByLaws of the Borough oi Levin. (b) To adopt Parts I to IX inclusive of the New Standard Code of Buildin^ By-Laws for application within, the Borough, and, (c) To provide for the numbering of houses within the Borough. A full copy of this proposed By-Law is deposited &t the . ofhces of the Levin Borough Council, Bath Street, Levin, and is open for the inspection of the public during office hours until the said 21 day of June, 1946.
