Mr. and Mrs. Frank Penn, for some years residents of Otaki, celebrated their golden wedding: recently, when they were the recipients of a large number of . congratulatory letters . and telegrams. Mr. and Mrs. Penn are now residents of Remuera, Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. R. Fielding, before ieaving again for the South Island, will be entertained by frlends at a, gathering to be held at Hautere' nekt week. ' Mr. and Mrs. Fielding have been residents of the district for many years, and the former, besides being-, a member of the R.S.A., was also- bandmaster here. Mrs. Fielding was one of the district's leading vocalists.
