. WELLINGTON, June 11. General Freyherg, who is travclling to New Zealand hy the Ruahine, is expeeted to be sworn in as GovernorGeneral of the Dominion on Monday. Word was received from the captain of the Ruahine today that the ship should rench Wellington hy G p.m. Saturday. Lady Freyherg and the balance of the Viee-itegal stafT are also on the Ruahine. . (feneral Freyherg will he sworn in by ihe Adnnnistrator of the Government, the Chief Justiee, Sir Miehael Myers. If the day is fine tlie eeremony will he lield on the front steps of Parliament House hut should it be wet, it will liave to he lield indoors, probahly in the Legislative Council Chamher. After the swearing in is complet.ed it is expected the new Governor-Gen-eral will he offieially weleonied on be half of the Government and people of New Zealand by the Prinie Minister and that General Freyherg will make a speeeli in reply. This will he his first speeoh after the assumption of his new offioe. General Freyherg will open the session of Parliament on June 26. Several functions, including a civie l'eceptitm, are being planned in his and Lady Freyberg 's honour.
