HOROWHENUA COMPETITIONS LAST SATURDAY'S RESULTS A further round in the Horowhenua basketball competition was played on Saturday at the various centres and the following are the resuits: — A grade: Kuku 12, St. Joseph's 10; College A 20, Tui A 14; C.O.G. A 22, College B 4; Shannon A 12, Aces 7. B grade: Shannon B 12, College O.G. B 5; College C 4, Tui B 3; Texfcile A 20, College E 4, College D 20, Aces B 4. C grade: Primary A 12, College Junior A 10, C.O.G. C 12, College Junior B 3; College F 9, Primary B 5. The draw' for next Saturday is as follows: — A grade: College A v. St. Joseph's, Domain, 2.15 p.m., Miss Bradley; College B v. Shannon A, Domain, 2.5 p.m., Miss Chapman-Cohen; C.O.G. A v. Tui A, Domain, 1.30 p.m., Miss Bradley; Aces A v. Kuku, Domain, 3 p.m., Mrs. Lindon. B grade: College C v. Shannon B, College, 2.25 p.m., Miss Rowe; College D v. Tui B, College, 2.25 p.m., Miss Evison; College E v. Aces B, College, 2.25 p.m., Miss Fogden; Textile A v. C.O.G. B, Domain, 2.50 p.m., Miss Chapman-Cohen. C grade: College F v. C.O.G. C, Domain, 1.30 p.m., Miss ChapmanCohen; Tui C v. Selections will be made for A, B and C grade representative teams. An A grade representative practice will be held on the Levin Domain at 3.45 p.m. on Saturday. O'Donnell, E. Hocking, A. Jacobs, R. Long and Mrs. Bruce. -Defence: Misses. E. Cately, D. Galloway, G. France, D. Julius, defence from Shannon who played last Saturday, I. Hudson, J. Roberts and Y. Lutz. The Levin Borough Council is supplying a paper bin for waste paper at the Levin Domain and basketball girls are requested to Ihelp keep the domain tidy. Girls using the College grounds are also asked to place all waste paper in the boxes provided.
