Fifial arrangeuienos were rriade for the birthday party to be. celebrated on Juiy 13. G'raham condticted, a very popular competition, which w'a'S won by Fev. A. saimond (Senior; and Miss Shirley Seott (JUhior/. riev. Mr. Saimond, the sp'eaker fb'r ihe afterno'on was then intrdduced ^y the prcsident (Mrs. Arcus/, and opoke on his Impressions of farming in four lands. Much interest was cxpressed and the speaker was aticorded a hearty vote of thanks. The monthly competitions were judged by Mrs. Saimond, who made' ohe following awards: — Baby's lcnitted singiet. — Seniors : Mrs. ; ciraham i, Mrs. Carle 2. Juriiors: iMiss B. Graham. Best bloom: Miss I S. Scott. Best vegetable : Mrs. Old. | Besc shrub: Mrs. Graham. !
