OVER £130 RAISED
O. AND G. CAMPAIGN - A sum of £139 12s . 3d lias been raised as a result oi the O. and G. campaign conducted in Levin last M-eeK to assist the fund to provide an Uostetric Chair at the Auckland Hospital for Women. This amount is not yet final, as it will oe several days before all funds raised have been handed in. oonations; received at "The Chronicie" office amounted to x58 lis, while Friday's street day realised £80 19s 3d in donations and contributions to the collecnon ooxes. The latter is a very fine achievement, and the ladies who worked so energetically to accomplish it are deserving of nigh praijSe. f*udxtional donations received at "The Chronicie", office were: Anonymous £2 2s and Mr. and jj. VV. McLennan £1 ls.
