The All India Moslein League Council in a rcsolution accepts the British Mission 's iofoposals by agreeiug to partieipate in long-term constitutional arrangements for the interyn Govern nient. Tlip resolution expresses resentmenl at Ihe "affront to Moslem sentiments by the rhoiee of injudieious words" in tlie proamble to Ihe British Mission 's statement, but adds: "Having regard to the grave issues involved and prompted by an earnest desire for peaeet'ul settlement if possible, '' the League is willing to eooj.erate. The resolution sees the basis oi' Pakistan as inherent in the plau by virtue of its eonijuilsory grouping of six Mosloni ])! ov.inees.
