DESERTING SEAMEN GIVE THEMSELVES UP -m.
INVERCARGILL, June 4. I Six seamen who left the Empire ; Pnkeha at Bluff last week are reported to have given themselves up to the police. Edwarcl Follaud, a second cook, anxl Dani Douglas Oliver, a greaser, were charged at Bluff today with deserting the ship and were eacli sentenced to pne month's imprisonment. Three more seanien called at the invercargill police station and one is reported to have given liimself uj) at Dunedin.
