Of the three leading horsemen, W. J. Broughton was the most suceessful over the iveekend racing and in riding flve winners at the Wanganui meeting, he displaced G. Hughes in second place. N. IHolland had oue success and still liolds |a clear lead with 48 wins. Broughton jhas now reached 44 and G. Hughes 42.
