i A seven-a-side tournament, j arranged by the Rahui Club, was held on the Otaki Domain on Monday afternoon when there " was a fair attendance. A light drizzle was experienced during the afternoon. 9
■ which tended to make the ball ! greasy. Results were: — I First game : Paraparaumu 14, Rahui Juniors nil. This proved an easy win for the visitors. Second game: Rahui "A" 3, Waimeha nil. This was an even contest, well fought out, and at the end of the spell there was no score. Additional spells were played when Rahui scored. • , ' Third game: Rahui juniors 3, Rahui seniors nil. A good game, well fought out. ; Fourth game: Rahui A 3, Rahui -3. An extra spell was played when the former won. The final game was played between Rahui juniors and Rahui seniors, when the latter won 6 — 3. ! Unfortunately teams from Wairarapa failed to make the trip, probably on account of- the heavy rain which fell there in the early mornins- i ; A third grade Manawatu v. Horowhenua game played at Palmerston North on Saturday resulted in a draw, 3-all, both tries. . Horowhenua scored in the first spell and - Manawatu were lucky in getting a Uy at the corner just on time.
