New Zealanders enjoyed conducted tours, many making a special point of visiting historic places of interest. Most are looking forward to travelling further afield. after tne parade. The troops' health is good. They are delighted with the organised entertainment provided which includes tickets for theatres. The Maunganui brought food to supplement the British rations and also five | cases of food as a gift from housewivcs in New Zealand for housewives in Bri- | tain. The contents of these cases are being made into pareels to be distributed from the Fernleaf Club. Captain Uphani arrived on May 31 by the first Lancastrian from' Australia to reach London's new airport at Heathrow.
