TRUCK RUNS INTO BUS
AUCKLAND, June 3. Two people were injured wlien a motor truck carrying a tractor collided with an Otahuhu passenger transport bus which was loading passengers at the jVlclvvvan's Alachinery Company Ltd., Penrose, about 6 o 'elock toniglit. Miss Rae Maney, aged 17, of Waihi, a passenger in the truck received lacerations to the face and was admitted to Green Lane hospital. A man xvho was boarding the bus, Mr Charles Kitchener Sanderson, aged 28, of Te Kuiti, suffered a compound fracture of the left foot and a dislocated. knee. He was taken to Auckland hospital. The truck was badly smashcd but after a delay of about an hour, the bus was able to move off.
