CIVIC THEATRE
TO-NIGHT ONLY Crown Film Unit's full-length feature technicolour production, "Western Approaches," which screens at the Civic Theatre tonight is the most ambitious film it has ever made. It tells something of the story of the heroic and unending battle that the Merchant and Royal Navies waged against the U-boats and the elements in the North Atlantic. "Western Approaches" is planned to do for these services what "Target for Tonight," "Desert Victory" and "Fires Were Started" did for the R.A.F., the Army and Auxiliary Fire Service.
