Attention in Britain is now focusing 011 the Derby, to be run on June 5. For the lirst time in the history of the race 'the Kiug and Queen will drive down the famous Epsom course in the processiom It is stated that car-parlc- : iug prices on the Downs will be a virtuai monopoly during Derby XVeek. Run by the Epsom Grandstand Asso- 1 ciation, the parking charges will be £5 • 10s for cars and £13 10s for motor j coaches for some sites nearest the j course. Gipsv caravans have been . ' ' warned olf. ' ' The favourite for the Derby is Happy Knight, winuer of the Two Thousand Guineas, with Khaled, Aldis Larnp and Gulf Stream also well up in the betting.
