JOCKEYS' TUSSLE
One of Ihe features of. last Satur day's racing was the keen tussle engaged in at Te Rapa by the two leading jockeys, N. B. Holland and G. Hughes, who clashed in several events. Each rode two winners and as a result Holland inUintained .his lead of five, having now ridden 47 winners for the isseason as against 42 to the cfedit of Hughes. Third on the winners' list is W. J.Broughton, whose total of 39 remained nnaltered in spite of his eff.orts at Woodville, where he secured third placings on.Pellmeer and Sir Bradbury.
