Pei'sonal r Mrs. Bayne, who has been in hospital in Palmerston North, returned home on Monday. Mr. Price, of- Te Awamutu, will join the staff of the Bank of New Zealand at Otaki early next month. The engagement is announced of Carol Lily, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F, H. Monk, of Otaki, to John William, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Simcox, of Otaki. Constable and Mrs. L. V. Gedge and their daughter, of Auckland, are at preseht the guests of the former's brother-in-law, , Mr. P. D. Summers, of Bell Street, Otaki.

Factories for Otaki It is more than likely that a factory 011 a large scaie will be shortly erected at Otaki Railway, land having been secured for the purpose. A large building will also be erected in Otaki township for factory purposes.
