The ! actual margin was one up only, and ! substitute Carmichael proved a I worthy partner for the holders, | staging a welcome return to iorm. j When opportunity offers, the afore- j mentioned players will partner H. j W. S. Walker in an effort to wrestj the trophies from the actual holders, H. Black and H. D. Richards. Handicaps With a general improvement in the standard of play over the last few weeks, several players have had j their handicaps adjusted in accordance with their scoring. As many club events vary in regard to the handicap for play, all members are urged to study their discs before commencing their rounds of play to avoid any misunderstanding that may arise. The onus is definitely on the players concerned, and should any protests eventuate :the handicap committee would strictly adhere to the ruling.
