LONDON SCHOOL BELL FOR WAITARA
Received Tuesday, 12:25 a.m. LONDON, May 27. A bell from tbe Avonmore School, Fulbani, a populous district in West London, wliere the school was destroyed hy enemy action, will hang in a New Zealand school as the result of a recjuest to Mr. W. J. Jordan while in New Zealand, hy the secretary of the Waitara School who asked for such a memento for the new district high school opening in 1947. London County Council stndents will suitahly engrave the hell.
