Clough defeated Miss H. Gardncr and A. S. Hyde, Miss M. Fulier apd D. Gyde defeated Misff J. Piggottand L. Burling', Miss A. P.edersen and D. Richards defeated Mrs. Hiott and N. Retter, Misses. G. Forbes and P. Small defeated Mrs. RetteT and T. Downes, Mrs. D. Richards' and V. Tippler defeated Misses D. Ritchie and N. Thomson. Secound round: Mrs. Gyde and Clough defeated Miss Fuifer and Gyde, Miss Pedersen and Richards defeated Misses Forbes and. Ritchie, Mrs. Richards and Tippler defeated Miss Thomson and Hyde. Semi-finals: Miss Pedersen and . Richards defeated Mrs. Richards and Tippler. • ' Final: Mrs. Gyde and Clough defeated Miss Pedersen and Richards. Prizes were presented to Mrs. Gyde and Mr. Clough by Mr. L. Burling, president of the club. A competition match resulted in V. E. Tippler defeating C. D. Gyde by 15 points to 9.
