- PRAGUE, May 22. Karl Hcrmuim Fraiik, Lhe former "proteetor" of Boliemia ILad Moravia, was publicly liangecl today. Women survivors of Lidice were among a crowd of 5000 wlio watched Uie public hanging in the courtyard of the Pankrac x>rison. The liangman was tlie first man imprisonfed by tlie GeHtapo in Praguc. Franlc's last words before lianging were: "Germany must live even if 1 must dio. "
