Received Friday, 11.55 a.m. LONDON, May 23. A high Persian Government official stated that fighting is continuing in the Shahindej area. Twc central Government troops were j killed and four injured .yesterday. I The official said that reports were j reaching the Government in i Teheran that Central Government • troops were defending themselves ! against attacks by Azerb'aijan i forces. The official also said that the i Teheran cabinet to-day discussed ; without decision the Security Council's decision to retain the Persiar. case on the agenda. He added: •'Cabinet is bewildered and doeE not know what to do." Moscow radio to-night quoted an announcement from headquarters of the Trans-Caucasian military district that the evacuation of the Red Army forces from Persir was completed on May 9.
