TWO CARS IN COLLISION

BOTH DRIVERS INJURED Two cars were involved in a collision at the intersection of Queen and Salisbury Streets shortly after noon to-day, as a result of which both the drivers, Mr. J. A. Chapman, of' Salisbury. Street, Levin, and Mr. A. Ellis, of Princes Street, LeVin, were injured. It appears that Mr.; Chapman was driving southwards along Salisbury Street in a small eight horsepower car when it came into collision with a heavy three-seater car, driven by Mr. Ellis, who was travelling in a westerly direction along Queen Street. Mr. Chapman received a nasty scalp wound and slight concussion, while Mr. Ellis sulfered a broken collarbone. After medical attention Mr. Chapman was taken to his home, while Mr. Ellis was admitted to the Amara Private Hospital. The impact was severe. The light car had its radiator cover torn off and was extensively damaged on the left-hand side. The heavier car was not badly damaged.
