WELLINGTON, Mav 29. A decision not to bake bread on Saturday, June 1, King's Birthday weckeud, has been reached by the national executive of New Zealand Baking Trades Employees' Union. The secretary of the union, Mr. A. A. McDonald, said today that, this decision has been nufde as niffster bakers did not avail themselves. of the union 's offer to Work on Easter Saturday. Mr. McDonald said that tlie Wellington brancli has deeided to refttse to do niore than 14 hours' work in any oue day and to require a break of at least 10 liours between one day's work and the next break.
