E. ■ Evans, retiring matron of thc Otaki Hospital, the Palmerston North Hospital Board at a meeting in Palmerston North yeslcrday deeided to hold the next inonthly meeting at Otaki. • • The chairman (Mr. J. Nash) referrcd to the notable record cstablislied by Mrs. Evans during her chargc at Otaki, and said she lrad been retained long after her due date of retirement because of ' the difficulty of rcplaciug her.
