Personal Mlss Gunning has been appointed to the teaching staff of the Paraparaumu School. The death occurred on Monday, at the Silverstream Hospital, of Margaret, wife of the late Mr. Alfred Edwin Bartley, and mother of Mr. Byron M. Bartley, of Otaki, and sister-in-law of Andy and Ethel. Money Missi&g ' It is stated that while an Otaki party was visitmg the Maori memorial at One Tree Hill, Auckland, they left their car unattended and unlocked, with the result that when they returned they f ound a purse and £30 missing.
