Ifeceived Suriday, "7 p.m. LONDON, May 18. Tlie announcement of Ceylon 's new constitution is generally welcomed says Reuter's Colombo correspondent. The only criticism eame from the indigenous Tamils and Indiau residents. The leader of the State Council, Mr. D. S. Senanayake, who is likely to be the first Prime Minister, said: "The Constitution will give us opportunities to work for the greatest happiness of the people, We hope to get Dominioh status soon."
