RETURNS OF INCOME {7VERY person and company, whether a taxpayer or not, having derived income during the year ended March 31, 1946, from any source or by any means which is made the subject of taxation under the Land and Income Tax Act, 1923, or any amendment thereof, is herebv required to furnish not later than June 1, 1946, a return of such income. Such returns shall be deIivered at or forwarded to the Branch ollice of the Land and Income Tax Department where the taxpayer's records are filed. Return forms are available at all post-offices or from any office of the Land and Income Tax Department. Posters showing particulars of persons liable to furnish returns are displayed at these offices. Any person failing to furnish a return at the prescribed time is liable to a penalty up to £100. — F.
