ANNUAti MEETING QF MANAKAU SUB-BRANUH The 1 annual- meeting of the Manakau sub-brarich of the Plunket Society waif held in the Plunkct Rodms, Manakau, on Monday afternoon last. • Owlng to the illness of Mrs. R. Robinson (president) , Mrs. J. N. Bryant presided over a good attendance, including thc pres'ident of the Levin branch (Mrs.' ;W/b4vieV and Several other Levin membe'rs. • Mrs. Bryant welcomed the visitor's"'and members and after the usual business had been completed, Mrs. Davie was requested to conducfc the clection of officers, which resulted as follows: — Patron: Hon. R;. Semple; ;T>resident: Mrs. R. Robiilson; vice-pr&sidents: Mesdames J, N. Bryant and L. Jensen; secre-tary-t^eas.urer: Mrs. R. B. Bennell; commfttee: MeAdames A.'Atkins, W. Swainspn, F. Ma'yman, G. Mudgway, N. Atkins; W. Reed, V. Bregniian and^Mis^ Cot'te'r; hon. auditor: Mr. J. A.iGoodwin. Mi-s.
