The lunches will lie transported by vans to the varions schools, where they will be distributed by prefects according to the methods which tyorked smoothly and efliciently at Rongotai College and Miramar .South School. A winter programine providing for hot soup has been niappcd out. A research eommittee is to be set up for the purpose of cxploiing new fields ir, connec.tion with the lunches, which inust be transported from depot to school, and it is hoped that a degree of varicty and attractiveness will be aitained which will eausc children to look forwartl to luncli-time with partieular pieasure. At the same time, it is intended to place all recipes and suggestions at the disposal of parents who prefer to prepare their own children 's lunches at home. It has been evident for some pionths that a very large numbcr of parents are anxious to see the school lunch prolilem solved. The lunches will be delivered in sixpenny units, but more 'than one unit will be available for the heartier appetites.
