A eourt sentenced to death a 24-years-old law student., Prokion Tambakopulos, who was twice sentenced to death by the Germans for sabotage during the : occupation. Tliis time Tambakopulos was sentenced to death for the murder of two Greek citizens during the occupation. The defence alleged that ■ the two murdered persons were niembers of a Greek sec.urity battalion sponsored • by the Nazis. The court recommended commutation of the sente-nee.
