Holland, was the only one received by tlie National l'arty for selection as tbe candidatc for the fendalton seat. The National Party policy for the general eloetion this year will be discussed wlien a eaucus of Parliamentary members of the party is held at Wellington at Ihe end of the month. The eaucus will opou on Hay 29 and provision has been made for its exten.sion over two further davs.
