Personal „ Mesdames Lloyd and Brown, oi Christchurch, are at present the guests of- Mrs. Cahill. Among the visitors to Otaki are Messrs. Quarterman, Barver and Boyd, well-known businessmen of Christchurch. Sports Dance : .A combined sports dance will be held at the Railway Hall on Friday night, when bright music, an appetislng supper, etc., will be the features. A bus will run from the beach and back. Boxing Progresses 'Rapid strides are being made m connection with the boxing class at Tainui, and already several trophies have been given or promised. Keen enjoyment is expected in the near future. * Benefit Concert Considerable interest is being taken in the benefit concert to be held at the Anglican Hall on Friday night, when high-class entertainment will be available. The proceeds will be donated towards the Paul Hoskins Memorial Boys' hostel.
