NAPIER, May 15. Sentence of four years' imprisonment was imposed by Mr. Justice Johnston in the Supreme Court today on Kenneth Ilugh Bennetts, salesman, aged 28, who pleaded guilty to sixteen charges involving breaking, entering, theft and false pretences at Wellington, Napier,! Gisborne, Auckland, Hamilton and elsewhere. The Judge warned the prisoner that if he appeared before the court again he would be declared 'an habitual criminal. Bennetts subsequently appeared : in the Police Court, where he was convicted and discharged on charges of belng unlawfully in possession of an automatic pistol and presenting it at a police oflicer. .
