The Ministries of Transport and Food plan to send to Australia and South Ameriea fof meat cargoes, a number of British refrigerated ships, the voyhges of whieh to. the United States liave been cancelied because meat, which was to have been loaded there, is unavailable. The reason for the meat shortagc in the United States, says the Dailv TelegraplUs shipping correspondent, is a black market total ling £10, 000, 000 wCekly.
