y — * H0R0WHENUA GAMES DRAW G00D ATTENDANCES There were good attendances at the rugby championship matches throughout the HorowhentVa district on Saturday, and with most of the teams having played two previous conipetition games, spectators found play faster.and more co-ordinated. At the moment Athletic, who drew with Foxton, have taken the lead in the senior championship. Otaki and Hui Mai had their ' first wins of the season by accounting for Wanderers and Rahui respectively, whiie Shannon had the bye. In the junior competition the winning teams were Shannon, Wanderers, Athletic, Waimeha, Rahui and Hui Mai. The third grade games saw College A, Athletics and College B secure wins.
