Received Sunday, 7.0 p.m. u LONDON, May 11. The Royal Navy, during the war, lost 50,000 men, 730 warships I (not including smaH ships) and 1500 aireraL't oi which 500 were J lost in combat. The Coastal Command, supporting the Navy in Home waters, lost 1480 aircraft. The Merohant Navy lost 12,500,000 tons of shipping and 30,000 men. _ _ ... These tigures were given by Vice-Admiral E. J. P. Blind when opening a shore training estahlishment . .. Liverpool.
