Received Sunday, 7.0 p.m. NEW YORK, May 11. Mr. Hoover, on his return from a world food survey, stated : "Wp are faeing thc greatest potential famine in human history.There is only a thirty to sixty days ' food supply in the famine areas of 27 nations. "They have five months to go before next harvest and the danger of famine is so imminent that if the United States eoal strike continues, hundfeds of thousands will die due t'o delayed food shipments. "If a railway strike takes place it will mean the death of millions. "If a shipping strike takes place it will result in a world holocaust.'5
