Andrews, F.N.Z.I.C., recently re-eiected for the secdhd year aS president of the New Zealafid Institute of Chemistry, has been awarded the Fellowship of the ROyal Institute of Chemistry of Gfeat Britain and Irelahd. The CounCil for Scientific and Industrial Research has appointed Sir Theodore Rigg and PrbfeSsor Soper to represent the New Zealand institute at meetings whleh will be convened in London at the time of' the Empire Science Conference. Sif Theodore is a past presideht of the Institute and directof of Cawthron Institute, Nelson, and Professor Soper, of Otago tFhiverSity,( was recently re-elected vlee-pfesideiit Of the Institute. : ,
