The net income for the year endcd Mareli 31, was ailocated as fol- ! lows: — I Four-fifths of the total for specific j objects (£3823); New Zealand Returned j Serviees Association, £100.; New Zgaland Red Cross Society, £200; Royal New Zealand Society for the Health oi Women and Children (including £20!) for Maori Plunket Nurses). £1200; Heritage (Incorporaterl), £1000; Advisory Board of the Federation of Health Camps, £110; Auckland Institute for the care of backward children, £100: Wellington After Care Society, £100; Occupation centre for subnonnal children at Christchurch, £145 and Dunedin £135; Cholmondeley Children 's Home, Christchurck, £150. One-fifth of the total for general purposcs (£985); on Missions to Seamen, £250; Hoc H., £90; misceHaneous, £045. The admihistrator, Mr E. A. E. Jones, stated in his annual report that the amount to the credit of the special account of the New Zealand Returned Serviees' Association under the heading or J. R. MeKenzie Trust, was £3409 10? lld but against thi.s sum should be offset an amount of £750 whieh had been speciallv eannarkod to assist in the establishment of returned servicemen's bowling greens in Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin. These movements had not yet assumed delinite shape.
