SYDNJiy, May 9. Doctors are fighting the worst epidemic of infantile paralysis in tlie city's history, accordiug to the DeputyDirector of Public Health . (Dr. Wallace). The epidemic, which is now at its height, began,in February, 19-15, sinct wlien there liave been 952 cases. The previous highest ligure was during the epidemic of 1959 wheu there wero G3S cases. From January 1 to May + this year, 277 cases were reported, and there were 12 deaths. The outbreak. reaehed its height in the first week of May witli 32 cases in seven days.
