PALESTINE REPORT Received Saturday, 12.20 a.m. CAIRO, May 10. Large forces of Egypuian police anned with guns and eiubs- and i wearing steei helmets, patrolied the crowded streets of the city today when the neneral strike began as a protest against the Palescine report. All shops were closed and j transport, except for a few taxis, was at a standstilL The police dispersed gatherings of more than five persons. The Baghdad countrywide strike as a protest against the AngloAmerican Committee's report on Palestine began at midday yesterday and will continue until midday to-morrow. Shops, theatres and other places have closed down and the publication of newspapers has been suspended.
