An anonymous letter has • beeri received by -Rey. J.' Hi Datson, vicar of the Anglican Churchy which vt)as read out at a meeting of thet Ladies' Guild and at .' the annual- meeting of parishioners.^ , * k;' Signed "Christian . Father 'and Mother," who were very concerhed about the bringing up of their children, it coniplained, in short, of the lights being • on at the Parish Hall> and the rioise coming frpm 'withih' when they were returriing home at 12.45 a.m. on Easter iSunday moriiing. Also, the writer had been told that motor-car horns were tooted and drinking was indulged in outside the hall. It was decided that the letter be tacked up on the wall of the Parish. Hall for future hirers to peruse.- As the hall was let until -i'Z' 6,'cloqk-;pn Easter Saturday night to a tbc^l sports club for a dance, it was.conT sidered that what was dQhe oiitsidti the hall on.the street' was.a niattqr for the poiice, and' that hothing further could be done about the letter. ■ ' ..."
