— Pleading guilty to the theft of two mattresses, valued at £5, in the Otaki Court' yesterday, Nohorua Parata was cohvicted and fined £2, and or'de'red' to make restitution. Constable Turnbull gave evidence that the accused entered a cottage at Waikanae and' todk the mattressps iii questi'on.
