The late Mrs. Bevan fof many years resided in this district, living for some time at "Pukehou," but of recent date came to Otaki. The late Mrs. Bevan leaves an adult family to mourn their loss. The sons are ' Percy (Inglewood) , Laurie (Waitara), Arthur (Levin) and Pat (Otaki), and the daugh•ters are Mrs. Warren (Hastings) , Mrs. Inglis (Otaki) and Mrs. Dysart (Lower Hutt) . Mrs. Lorrigan (Auckland) and Mrs. McLoughlan are sisters, and Messrs. Fred., Charlie, (Te Rapa) , Herbert (Otaki) and Tom Carmont are bfothers.
