FOLLOWING LEAD OF NEW ZEALAND
^ Received Wednesday, S.40 p.m. SYDNEY, Mav,S. Following the lead of New Zealand housing authorities, the Now .South Wales Housing Co^nmission is building the first large block of tlats. The undertaking will comprise 31 flats in a block surrounded by gardens and sited at Balmain overlooking part of Sydney Harbour. The building will be a fourstoreyed, sound proofed, steel framed struc'ture with brielc facings and coiicrete walls. The cost will be £44,500.
