They liave lodged applications with the locai autliorities to reut tlie premises. The move was made with the assistance of local sub-branclies of the Legion : of Ex-Serviceinen and the Communist Party, aeting independently. Bubsequently the Ex-Servicemen 's Leaguc dissoeiated itself from the action.
